Tokyo-based artist creates the unique body art inspired by the modern technology
Body artist Hikaru Cho partners with Samsung to craft mind-boggling 3D-effect body art inspired by the technology. An applauded body artist has completed the projects stimulated by the Samsung's latest handsets. Tokyo, Japan-based artist Hikaru Cho painted numerous artworks onto the face and neck of models, ranging from the concepts of the wireless charging capabilities, super-fast charging, swipe functions and filters.
Hikaru says “This design was inspired by the super fast charge that the phones offer. I liked the idea of it looking like the model herself was being recharged.”It was the part of a celebrating Samsung's latest mobile phones, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge, with the dreamlike artwork depicting the British attitude towards self-editing as well as advances in the communications technology and the design.
The six new designs represent different features, such as a nod to the modern fashion of filtering photos as well as the physical design of the Galaxy S6 edge. Hikaru says “I also created 2 designs that were inspired by the look of the phones themselves. The thin, sleek design of the Galaxy S6 inspired my ‘Flat Face’ artwork” (Samsung).
