Galaxy S6 has the best display
The most anticipated Android smartphone of 2015 is Samsung Galaxy S6. Every release of Samsung’s models, especially from Galaxy branches, is a big deal. The new Galaxy S6 brings many improvements.
On first sight, it is faster, slimmer and more desirable than previous model. Many people considered Galaxy S5 as boring!
The best feature of Galaxy S6 is its display! It is 5.1 inches AMOLED touch screen, with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. Every person who had a chance to use this smartphone just for short periods, said that it has the best display ever seen on the smartphone!
At the beginning, AMOLED screens had problems reaching LCD’s color accuracy, reflectivity and clarity. The first smartphones, like an original Galaxy S model, had display with low maximum brightness and because of high reflectivity it was useless outside. Samsung was working on solving these problems, and finally made a success! The first model with almost perfect display was Galaxy S5, but the new model is bringing several improvements!
Gamut Samsung colors, provide several rendering modes to tweak the colors. There are three different modes: basic mode, photo mode and adaptive mode. Adaptive mode is adjusting display performances to look more vivid. Basic mode is producing more ‘’real’’ colors. Photo mode will get close to the Adobe RGB values.
Even better feature is battery consumption. Big screens like this one drains battery very fast. Samsung reduced the display power from 0.82 watts, which display on Galaxy S5 required, to 0.65 watts. For example, iPhone’s 6 display is using 1.52 watts, so Samsung has 23% better power efficiency. This means you can use this magnificent display longer, before the battery drains out!
