Recently, Google has revealed their ‘’computer on a stick.’’ It has been called Asus Chromebit and it runs on a Chrome OS. This is a gadget developed by Google and Asus, a Taiwan’s computer manufacturer. The idea is to plug this gadget into any TV or gadget with a display, and you will have a personal computer (PC). The best characteristic is its size. Asus Chromebit should be smaller than a candy bar. It will be available in a couple of months, and it will have a price of $100. Asus Chromebit has a Rockchip RK3288 processor and 2GB of RAM. The internal storage has a capacity of 16GB.
Google also announced that they will start making laptops. They will be low-cost Chromebook laptop computers, developed in a partnership with Haier and Hisense, Chinese electronic groups.
Those laptops should be also cheap. According to Google, their price is $149! Currently, Haier computers are sold through Amazon. It has a display of 11.6 inches, which isn’t much, but it is a perfect solution for those who spend a lot of time on Facebook or other social media services. On the other side, you can buy Hisense PC at Walmart.
